General visitor statistics

Below are the general visitor statistics since the year 2009 (I began writing at lukasgirtanner.com in April 2010, but the wiki itself (with only one page containing, the Main Page) was installed already in 2007).

Unfortunately, the the columns are not aligned, it seems quite a lot of work to bring them into alignment, maybe I will try to bring them into alignment. The first number in a row is always the number for "unique visitors", the second number is "Number of visits", the third number is "Pages", the fourth number displays the number of "Hits" (not clear what the exact difference between "Pages" and "Hits" is, maybe "Hits" can be on the same Page several times, but these statistics are anyway not so important, more important is the number of unique visitors), and the last column represents the "Bandwidth" (I am also not sure what Bandwidth in this context exactly means, I just copy-pasted all statistics.)

(From March 2011 to December 2011, the website was inaccessible
because I configured it like that, I was anxious and had the impression
that the website would have a too negative effect on my life,
a feeling that luckily has subsided since (more about that in my biography
that I will soon have to write.))

(Last update: 01 Aug 2013 - 13:05)
(The reason why the number of unique visitors went down in June and July 2013
was that the website was at least partially inaccessible since sometime in May 2013
and only went online again at the end of July 2013 because of
a conflict of the versions of the wiki's software. It took so long to resolve the issue
because I waited several months (out of something like lethargy) before notifying
this website's support staff that the website is down and as soon as I had done that,
the problem was solved immediately.)

(Maybe it would be better to put the statistics for the current year (2013) first so that the previous years are listed further below (descending order).)

Keywords

In the future, I will publish all keywords of the search field on the left of all coming months (respectively at least the keywords that don't reveal any personal information of visitors should someone accidentally enter personal information into the search field, I am checking all keywords, so that I don't release something personal accidentally, there has been no personal information in the keywords so far). For the past, I will publish the search keywords of a few months. They provide a very important feedback what users think when reading this website here. (I also don't enter keywords myself into the search field (although I often would like to in order to search something on my own website), exactly because in order not to mix my own keywords with the keywords that other people entered.)

What I have to take especially seriously is "what is genetic engineering", "contempt of the flesh", "contempt", "the beauty of mathematics", "teaching", "constructivists", "marine handhelds" (but what does "marine handhelds" mean?), "advantages", "disadvantages". (There are also other months with other keywords, so I will have to look through these keywords too.) I will have to think about these keywords. And in case of the keyword "constructivists", I have changed my opinion and realized that a radically constructivist approach is probably or even almost certainly wrong and unmathematical (and/or also politically wrong, probably fundamentally wrong). I have also to be very happy and grateful that I didn't find negative keywords because there would be plenty of reasons for negative keywords too when reading this page here, especially because of my "visions" and experiences that I had in 2011 and June 2012 (but also my more general biography is not without any mistakes, furthermore, I am writing about a subject about which I have little understanding). Also very important among the keywords above is "disadvantages", to think (and write) about the disadvantages of a (potentially) too one-sided upbringing of a child.

As far as the "contempt of the flesh" might be concerned, it is two-sided: One the one hand, it is clear that a concept like a mathematical singularity (a mathematical singularity in a (now still) ideological sense) implies even more than a (still physical) technological singularity a "transformation" of all physical entities into a purely abstract existence (but again, when thinking about it properly, how exactly is a technological singularity defined? Is there a certain point when one could say "now, we are in or have achieved a technological singularity"? Maybe, the difference between the concept of a "technological singularity" and a "mathematical singularity" might not even exist, but that is actually at least partially off topic, the issue here was contempt of the flesh), so the objection of the contempt of the flesh would actually absolutely be justified. But on the other hand, when a mathematical singularity would empower all "entities" (all living but possibly also non-living entities) in the universe in an egalitarian and democratic (preferably a truly consensus-based democracy) way would such an endeavor be free of any contempt of the "flesh". But these are ideological/eschatological issues, the more down-to-earth question is how mathematics (respectively sufficient (extension of) knowledge in it) can help humanity to survive. Because protecting living forms by causing less environmental destruction thanks to a more intelligent and thoughtful way of living and also focusing on teaching mathematical insights instead of just focusing on gadgets or artificial agents (which cause more strain on the environment/ecosystem on Earth), might even counter the argument "contempt of the flesh" because living entities and the preservation of them are given a fundamental (the highest possible) value.

The "beauty of mathematics" is a very important concept since it can counter any effort of wanting to implement physical "beauty" at the expense of other living forms. Mathematics with its abstract beauty (but I have to admit that my mind is too limited to grasping it and/or I am too old (and preoccupied with writing) for learning it) should motivate people to "struggle" for it (try to study it as much as possible) because it is fundamentally rewarding if one perceives/imagines this beauty. (If one wants to consider theistic beliefs, one could even say that the beauty of mathematics represents God's beauty.)

I will upload also the keywords from some other months, always watching no accidentally entered personal information is among the keywords.
